I found this recipe off of Reddit.com/foodporn! Thank you!
Below is the exact recipe list of ingredients posted from Reddit/foodporn, I changed a few things for my cooking experience!
What You Need:
5 Chicken breasts
Baking soda
Flour
Salt and Pepper
Garlic powder
2 Eggs
1 1/2 can Beer
Worcestershire sauce
White vinegar
1 Stick of Butter
Cayanne pepper
Franks buffalo sauce
Tabasco
Canola oil for frying/vegetable oil-- your choice
Batter
1 cup flour (Gold's)
1 tsp baking soda
Mix these together in a large bowl
2 eggs (I used 4 since I was cooking for more people)
3/4 cup of beer (I used Yungling, almost a full can)
Pinch of salt and pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
Whisk these together in a medium bowl.
Heat up your oil, until it is heated and fluid as you move the pan around. Dip your chicken strips in this order; first the flour, then the egg beer mix, then flour (repeat again for a double battered chicken). Into the hot oil they go!
Let each side get a nice light golden brown. Once fried to your desired look (and once the chicken is white all the way through, drain on a paper towel. Allow the chicken to cool.
Sauce
1/2 cup of Frank's (I used Frank's Buffalo)
1/2 cup butter (1 stick ) (and a few smaller pieces I added)
2 tbsp white vinegar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper ( I used a small dash of paprika instead since I did not have cayanne)
Pinch of salt
Dash of Tabasco (I used a bit more than a dash)
You can make this before frying the chicken so it has time to cool.
Add the above to a medium stove pot, keep on a low heat and stir frequently. Add the butter first so it melts, then add in everything else.
Simmer on a low heat until it has thickened a bit, about 10 minutes.
Once cool, add to a large freezer bag. Then add in your fried chicken into the bag, shake well and coat.
Extra step I added for a different texture!
Pre heat the oven to 350°, using a cookie baking sheet, place the coated buffalo chicken onto the baking sheet, and bake for about 10 minutes.
Check often, I did not let mine get as crispy as I wanted because I had a group of people that were very hungry!
Serve with some blue cheese on the side (optional) and you are set!
For my sides, I made potato salad and broccoli for a complete meal!
Ready for the oven!
Complete Meal!
