Chocolate Chip Cookies, with Mini Morsels!

I followed this recipe, the back of the bag of Original Nestle Toll House Mini Morsel Cookies!

I did four things to change this recipe to have a better outcome!
Sifted my flour.
Used unsalted butter.
Used more packed brown sugar.
Added a bit of cinnamon.
Did not use chopped nuts.
Greased my cookie sheet.

These cookies came out sooo soft and even a little bit fluffy!

What You Need:
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour.                   (sift)
1 tsp. salt.
1 tsp. baking soda.
1 cup ( 2 sticks ) butter, softened.        (unsalted butter)
3/4 cup packed brown sugar.                 (I used about an extra 2/4 cups of brown sugar for more softness)
3/4 granulated sugar.
2 cups (12oz package) Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels.
1 cup chopped nuts.                                 (optional)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon                      (optional)

Pre heat oven to 375 °F
Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a small bowl.  (I sifted my flour first before mixing with the baking soda, cinnamon and salt.) Only do a bit of flour at a time, depending on how big your sifter is. (Mine can hold about 2 cups, but it was too much to do in one shot.)
(I will just totally microwave melt the butter to make it easier to mix.) Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto un greased baking sheets. (Grease the pan!)
Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
My kitchen while this is all going on. Makes the place smell really good though!
