What you Need:
2 1/4 Cups Flour
1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon + 1 Tablespoon Sugar
1 Teaspoon Salt
6 Tablespoons Butter
3/4 Cup Buttermilk
1 small onion
2 Cloves fresh garlic, minced
2 Tablespoons butter
Makes about 15 Palm Sized biscuits
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Heat your 2 tablespoons of butter in a small pan, allow the butter to melt fully.
Now slice and dice up your onion and garlic very fine and saute the onion until very lightly brown.
Turn the stove top off and add the garlic in and saute for just a minute, allow this to cool on the side while you are mixing the biscuits together.
Mix everything in a large bowl, wait on the buttermilk.
Add onions and garlic the dry mixture and add in the buttermilk last, mix well.
Once the mixture is thoroughly mixed, remove from the bowl and knead the dough a little, the dough will be lumpy.
The dough will be very stiff and a little hard to work with at first, but you'll get it!
Once the dough is kneaded and mixed enough, form palm sized small biscuits, there should be enough for 15.
Grease baking sheet with some butter, add the dough and bake for 15-20 minuets.
Remove from the oven, eat and enjoy!!
