Shepards Pie







I looked at a few different recipes for this. I kept it simple for my first time making this. Ground beef, carrots, celery, peas and onions. With the mashed potatoes on top of course!


What you need:
4 cups mashed potatoes; fresh or left over.
1 lb ground beef; browned.
1/2 cup baby carrots; slice thinner and a bit smaller than they come.
1 cup frozen peas; thawed.
1/4 cup celery or about 2-4  celery stalks; sliced thin.
1 can beef broth.
2 tablespoons butter
Gravy for on the side. (optional)









I had left over filling at potatoes, so I decided to experiment with mini shepard's pies!
